2. Data we collect

• Identification data: first name, surname, ID number (DNI/NIE)
• Contact data: email, mobile phone
• Personal data: date of birth
• Technical data: IP address, browsing data
• Sports data: results, rankings, teams

3. Purpose of processing

• Management of registration and user account
• Organisation of padel leagues and competitions
• Communication with users about the platform
• Management of payments and sports insurance
• Compilation of rankings and statistics
• Sending commercial communications from sponsors (only with explicit consent)

4. Legal basis

Data processing is based on:

• Consent: the user gives explicit consent when registering. The user may withdraw consent at any time from their profile settings.
• Contractual performance: necessary to provide the platform's services
• Legitimate interest: service improvement and fraud prevention

5. Data processors

To provide our services, we share data with the following providers (data processors):

• Stripe, Inc.: payment processing. Privacy policy: https://stripe.com/privacy
• Amazon Web Services (AWS SES): sending transactional emails
• Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): sending push notifications to mobile

6. International transfers

Some of our data processors (Stripe, AWS, Google) may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). These transfers are carried out on the basis of standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or adequacy decisions (EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

7. Data retention

Data will be retained according to the following periods:

• Account data: while the user keeps the account active. Once deletion is requested, it will be erased within a maximum of 30 days.
• Payment data: 5 years after the last transaction (tax obligation, General Tax Law).
• Audit data and security logs: 2 years.
• Sports data (results, rankings): may be retained in anonymised form for statistical purposes.

8. User rights

In accordance with the GDPR (Articles 15-22) and the LOPDGDD, the user has the right to:

• Access: know what data we process
• Rectification: correct inaccurate data
• Erasure: request the deletion of data
• Portability: receive the data in a structured format
• Objection: object to the processing of data
• Restriction: request the restriction of processing
• Withdrawal of consent: withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent prior to its withdrawal

9. Automated decisions

We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects on the user or significantly affect them. The calculation of rankings is based on objective sporting results and does not constitute an automated decision within the meaning of Article 22 of the GDPR.

10. Data Protection Officer

Given the nature and volume of data processed, SOMOS LUXPADEL S.C.P. is not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer (DPO). For any query about data protection, you may contact us directly at: privacy@luxpadel.pro

11. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, role-based access controls, periodic backups and audit logs.

12. Supervisory authority

The user has the right to lodge a complaint with the Catalan Data Protection Authority (APDCAT) or the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

13. Image rights

Photos and videos featuring participants may be taken during tournaments. These images are only published on the social media, website and communication channels of the tournament organizer and its partners for informative and promotional purposes, and only if the participant expressly authorized it at registration (dedicated image-rights checkbox). This consent is voluntary, does not condition participation, and can be withdrawn at any time by writing to info@luxpadel.pro, in which case images will be removed from organizer-controlled channels within a reasonable period. Legal basis: consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 1/1982 on the right to one's own image.

14. Partners: insurance coverage and exclusive events

We may disclose to insurers or intermediaries managing sports coverage only the identification and participation data necessary to arrange or manage coverage and handle incidents, where necessary for the contracted service or required by law. Before disclosure, we will identify the recipient, the data and the applicable legal basis. Health data, if needed, also require a valid condition under Article 9 GDPR.

SOMOS LUXPADEL S.C.P. may send news, discounts and invitations to exclusive events, including sponsor offers, to people who have opted into commercial communications through their authorised channels. Refusing this consent prevents promotional messages but not necessary account, payment or contracted competition notices. In this case we send the communications ourselves without disclosing contact details to the sponsor. Before sharing identification or contact data with sponsors organising exclusive events, we will request specific, informed and optional consent identifying the sponsor, the data it will receive and the purpose of inviting or managing participation in that event. Data will not be shared for the sponsor’s own advertising without the corresponding specific consent. Refusal does not affect registration or ordinary participation; consent may be withdrawn at any time through privacy@luxpadel.pro.

Accepting or reading this policy does not itself constitute consent to these disclosures. Partners acting on our behalf must be covered by a data processing agreement; partners determining their own purposes will be identified as independent controllers. Only data necessary for each purpose will be disclosed.
